Brave New World Movie
Looks like Brave New World, the classic dystopian science-fiction novel written by Aldous Huxley in 1931, is going to be adapted into a movie. Leonardo DiCaprio is apparently going to produce (through his production company Appian Way), I even heard that DiCaprio could play the role of John, the so-called 'savage'. And Director Ridley Scott has already expressed his interest in helming the project.
Plot:
"A young man is brought out of a savage reservation, where he lived somewhat like an American Indian, into an advanced and controlled, and seemingly happy and wonderful, society. He must chose to become part of that society or embrace a more natural human existence."
There's nothing official yet though and it's not clear how the Brave New World movie would fit in Ridley Scott's busy schedule, the famous director is indeed already attached to quite a few movies...
Let's hope that this the Brave New World movie will go into production soon because Aldous Huxley's Brave New World definitely deserves a brand new movie adaptation using the latest technologies.
